Technology Project Facilitator – Technology - Full-Time - Papillion La Vista Community Schools
Job Summary: Work in collaboration with district stakeholders to propose/design, evaluate and implement technology projects that support and align with the District's Technology Plan.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Regular, dependable attendance is an essential function of this position. Supports various cloud based and on-premise software and hardware solutions the district utilizes. Works with various district teams both within and outside of the technology department to leverage technology solutions. Works under general supervision with latitude for independent judgment. Communicates with district and school administration to improve technology capabilities and coordinate priorities. Facilitates district and school participation in technology programs, activities and initiatives. Works with district stakeholders and technology staff in the selection and implementation of resources/solutions that are compatible with the school technology infrastructure. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality while working with sensitive information. Support district training and professional learning efforts for staff. Looks for and recommends improvements to automate various district systems to improve efficiencies and maintain clean, operational systems. Ability to work in a team environment while being student and team oriented. Assist in supporting the district’s data and technology teams goals as needed. Assign, route, and monitor open tickets via helpdesk software and phone calls. Must understand and respond appropriately to customer needs and maintain a positive attitude with colleagues and customers alike using diplomacy and being tactful. Attends meetings as needed. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Degree and/or related experience in technical field, industry certifications are not required but may be substituted for years of experience in a related field. Experience in facilitation of projects is preferred, keeping schedules, meeting deadlines, and working with teams to project completion. Candidate should also have excellent computer skills, oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of SQL, Python, workflow and automated job scheduling and management would be preferred.
